1. Where does the tour begin?
To enter the Lab, you must take the chartered Berkeley Lab shuttle that will be marked “Special.”
You will board the shuttle in downtown Berkeley on Shattuck Ave. at the Lab shuttle stop marked with a blue sign between Center and Addison Streets (in front of the Sandwich Zone restaurant at 2117 Shattuck Avenue and Scandinavian Designs).
Note: Shattuck Ave. splits into two one-way streets going north and south between Center Street and University Avenue. We will meet on the Shattuck Ave. that is one-way going north; also the closest one to the University. This section of Shattuck Ave. is also referred to as Berkeley Square.
