Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory invites outstanding recent Ph.D. recipients to compete for one of three 2008 Glenn T. Seaborg Postoctoral Fellowships.  Students who expect to receive their Ph.D. degree by October 1, 2008 are also invited to apply.

Upon appointment, a Seaborg Fellow is given time to review the Laboratory’s research program and may choose to participate in any aspect of it.  In addition to his/her salary, a Seaborg Fellow receives a $20,000 annual research supplement.  These are three-year appointments with a competitive salary aligned to the scientific discipline of the Fellow.
