Hazards Analysis and Environmental Engineering Intern -Tested the newest version of the accidental release modeling software program, PHAST 6.0, and prepared it for company-wide release. Obtained and analyzed data used to apply for a new emissions permit that will lead to increased production and decreased maintenance costs for manufacturing plant.

Researched and tested the phase stability of Nickel-based superalloy weldments for turbine application for General Electric Power Systems Company in Schenectady, NY. Participated in bi-weekly seminars on emerging materials research. Presented results at the end of summer to professors and peers.
