Getting to the Lab

Visitors

Cars will not be allowed onsite. Visitors can only access the Lab via a shuttle bus that departs from UC Berkeley's West Gate, located near the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Once you've successfully registered for either the morning (10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) or afternoon (12:30 to 3 p.m.) session, a confirmation page will pop up. Print this page and show it to the shuttle bus driver. Those without a pass will not be able to attend the event. Starting at 9:40 a.m., shuttles between the West Gate and the Lab will run approximately every 10-15 minutes. The last shuttle will leave the West Gate at 2 p.m. and the Lab at 3:30 p.m.

Go here to view downtown Berkeley public parking options, and here for campus parking options.

Employees

Employees who choose to drive to the event must present their parking pass and the printout of their registration confirmation to Blackberry Gate personnel. Parking will be restricted. The following lots will be closed: G1, G2, H1, H2, J, K1, K2, N2, Y and Z (parking map). Roads in and around these areas will be blocked off. Strawberry Gate will be closed.
