General Research Interests
My group has been involved in research on various aspects of crystal growth, from large bulk semiconductors crystals to thin epitaxial films, nanocrystals and fibers. We are currently involved in research on radiation detectors (scitillators and semiconductors) and research on superconductors with emphasis on synthesis, crystal growth and characterization. A new crystal growth facility is aimed at producing test size crystals of these various materials.
