About Us
The Life Sciences Division Postdoc Society aims to provide a forum in which postdocs can meet and interact. Events and activities are organized by its Organizational Committee. We:
- organize a monthly seminar series presenting research from fellow postdocs and scientists;
- are the liaison between the postdocs and the division, and represent the postdocs at Life Sciences Division Advisory Committee meetings;
- organize an annual keynote speaker seminar with a distinguished scholar;
- help in the planning and organization of the annual Life Sciences Division Scientific Retreat;
- plan social and educational events (annual picnic, etc…).
Join Us
We welcome you to join the committee. Most importantly, by joining you have a chance to:
- be involved in the division beyond conducting individual science research;
- get experience in planning and organizing meetings and seminars;
- interact with scientists and Division management;
- interact with other peers from the various departments.
