The Waste Management Group has initiated a schedule of hazardous waste pickups to assist generators in maintaining compliant waste practices in the generating area. The schedule covers waste pickups in all buildings including Donner. Each building has hazardous waste pickups every two weeks (see below).
Waste generators will continue to submit waste requisitions (either by fax or electronically) when the container(s) are full or before the accumulation time exceeds 275 days. Electronic requisitions must be received at least 5 working days prior to the scheduled pickup day. Requisitions will be held until the scheduled pickup date for that building. Hazardous waste technicians will only pickup hazardous waste for which they have requisitions. If the regular pickup day falls on a holiday, the pickup day will move to the following day.
