Construction Safety Startup Kit 2012
All Contractor's & their employees entering LBNL property to do any type of work are required to take the LBNL "General Employee Radiation Training" (this can be done online) & "Construction Subcontractor Safety Orientation" (onsite) courses.
These courses must be completed prior to the start of any work.

GERT-General Employee Radiation Training Booklet - To access the online training course, go here if you don't have an LBNL log in ID. Go here if you do have an LBNL log in ID.
- Go through the training and print out or email EH&S & the Construction Manager a
copy of the training. Each employee must go through GERT every 2 years. - After you have completed GERT training, click on the link below to review the Subcontractor Orientation (Construction Safety Hand Book):
Construction Safety Orientation - Construction Safety Orientations are held every Thursday morning at Bldg. 76 room 235 at 7 am. All contractors & subcontractors employees shall have completed this course prior to the start of any work at LBNL.

- You will then be issued a sticker for the worker's hard hats.
