    • INSTRUCTIONS FOR TAKING GERT:

      1. To prepare for taking the online training course, click on the link below to review the GERT-General Employee Radiation Training Booklet:

      2. To access the online training course, go here if you don't have an LBNL log in ID. Go here if you do have an LBNL log in ID.
      3. Go through the training and print out or email EH&S & the Construction Manager a
        copy of the training. Each employee must go through GERT every 2 years.
      4. After you have completed GERT training, click on the link below to review the Subcontractor Orientation (Construction Safety Hand Book):

      5. Go over the Construction Safety Orientation Handbook with your Crew, sign the Sign-in Sheet, and email it back with the signatures or copy it and hand it in to the Construction Manager & EH&S. Click on the link below to download the Construction Sign-in Sheet:

      6. You will then be issued a sticker for the worker's hard hats.
