limits.
- You must be given an opportunity to observe monitoring for hazardous
substances.
- You must have access to your exposure records.
- You have the right to refuse to work in conditions that could cause
death or serious physical harm.
You have the right to file confidential health and safety concerns with the local Department of Energy (DOE) office. You may write a letter, submit Form 5480.4 (available from the Environment, Health and Safety [EH&S] Division), phone the DOE Employee Concerns Hotline 800-701-9966, or write to the DOE Employee Concerns Program Manager at 900 S. Cass Avenue, Argonne IL 60439.
LBNL also utilizes a hotline to receive complaints on matters relating to environmental safety and health, fraud, and abuse. This number is 1-800-403-4744. Complaints will be investigated promptly.
