EH&S Training Instructor Qualifications and Criteria
Instructors of all EH&S courses and/or division customizations
of EH&S courses (such as PGF 10, PGF 26, PGF 135) are expected to demonstrate
appropriate qualifications for a given course as well as maintain the following
Instructor Criteria:

Maintain current certification where applicable.

Possess expert knowledge and/or equivalent
experience in subject matter.

Understand training pedagogy.

Apply current training techniques and
methodology.

Conduct annual or biennial course curriculum
reviews and updates.

Be punctual and prepared, provide follow up when
needed, and identify a backup instructor. (The supervisor/group leader must
approve the selection of the backup instructor.)

Assess and measure student competency.

Review student course evaluation for feedback
and improvement.

Participate in the EH&S Instructors’ Group Meetings.

Participate in
in-house workshops that focus on key competencies of effective instruction.
