The EHSS IT Development and Integration Program has the long-term goal of updating the ~45 existing EHSS IT Systems and consolidating them into as few as 4-6 major platforms. While pursuing this long-term goal, the Program also is continuing to support the required maintenance and modifications of existing IT systems. Through these activities we will improve:

• The quality and value of EHSS services delivered to the Lab users and stakeholders
• The end-user experience and make it easier to engage EHSS functions
• The completeness, quality, integration, accessibility, and transparency of ES&H information
• EHSS operation efficiency by streamlining, automating and improving business processes.

Below is a high level flow chart that illustrates key milestones in the Project Management process.

To request development or modification of an IT system or application complete this form, which will initiate the Project Management Process for evaluating, prioritizing and performing your request. 

• Once your request is submitted it will be evaluated by the EHSS Operations team within a week
• A priority and score will be assigned to the project
• Depending on the priority level, the project will begin or will be scheduled for a later date
• Once the project is started a charter is prepared and signed by both the EHSS client and the operations representative
• The project is then performed and completed
