Lithium batteries are considered hazardous materials when shipped by air. Notify Shipping for any shipments that include lithium batteries.
Note: If you need to fly with lithium batteries, please note that since 2008, it is illegal to pack spare lithium batteries in your checked baggage. You may pack spare lithium batteries in your carry-on baggage.
Lithium batteries are not regulated during self-transportation.
