Waste Management Procedures

Personnel who generate medical/biohazardous waste must complete the on-line Medical/Biohazardous Waste Training (EHS 730) and should refer to PUB-3095, Medical and Biohazardous Waste Generator's Guide, for guidance and requirements regarding disposal of Medical/biohazardous waste.  There are specific definitions and requirements for biological wastes and their disposal.
