Teaspoon or less. |
Remove with HEPA vacuum. |
A HEPA vacuum may be used to clean all Cannon Toner spills that are less than or equal to a teaspoon in size. |
|
More than a teaspoon. |
Do not use a HEPA vacuum. Dampen toner with cold water. Sweep into dustpan or container. Dispose of toner in regular trash. Mop spill area with paper towel soaked with cold water to remove fine particles, Dispose of paper towel in regular trash. |
Dry sweeping with a broom is the recommended clean-up method. Wetting the spill with cold water prior to sweeping will reduce the amount of airborne particles. Please note it is very important to only use cold water. Hot or warm water must never be used. |

Dry sweeping with a broom is the recommended clean-up method.. Some particles on carpet may be difficult to remove via sweeping. The ‘sticky’ side of tape or a wet paper towel with cold water should be used after sweeping. |
