EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

We would like to bring to your attention the opportunity to exhibit at the 16th International Workshop on ECR Ion Source (ECRIS 04) to be held at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, September 26-30, 2004.

The workshop is an important international forum for scientists working on ECR ion sources, which are the most widely used ion source for heavy-ion accelerators. For the upcoming workshop we anticipate about 75 participants.  We have received approximately 60 abstracts covering the theory and production of high charge state beams and applications to accelerator technology, medical technology, accelerator mass spectrometry and radioactive ion beam production.  Technologies used in these ions sources include beam transport equipment, UHV equipment, beam diagnostics, high field permanent magnets, normal and superconducting magnets, cryostat and cryocoolers, high Tc superconductors and microwave devices such as gyrotrons, klystron and traveling wave tubes.

The program runs from 9:00 AM on Monday, September 27th, until 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 30th, with oral and poster sessions arranged serially.  The oral sessions will be held in Building 66 at LBNL, and the poster sessions will be held in Perseverance Hall, adjacent to the LBNL cafeteria.  We have reserved space for a limited number of booths to be set up in Perseverance Hall during the Tuesday afternoon poster session.  Following the poster session, participating vendors are invited to attend the conference barbeque to be held at the 88-Inch Cyclotron.

We offer three levels of sponsorship.  All three levels include the opportunity to provide brochures for the registration packet, to be listed as a sponsor on the ECRIS’04 website, and to be acknowledged at the workshop barbeque.

Level 1. Exhibiting sponsor

An exhibition booth with a 10’ x 10’ space with an 8 foot high draped back, two 4 foot high draped sides with table and chairs. Fee $1000.00

Level 2.  Corporate sponsor

Space provided for 1 poster at Tuesday’s poster session.  Includes workshop registration for one.

Fee $700.00

Level 3. Contributing sponsor

Fee $500.00

The exhibition space will be available for setup on Tuesday morning September 27th with the teardown to be completed at the end of the day.

We encourage you to make use of this opportunity to attend, exhibit and meet with the ECR ion source community.  For further information please visit the workshop website at http://www.lbl.gov/ecris04/.  For further information contact the workshop secretary, Patti Kobayashi, at 510-486-7815 or via e-mail at PTKobayashi@lbl.gov.

We look forward to seeing you at the ECRIS 04 Workshop!

Best regards
