PAPER PREPARATION GUIDELINES (PLEASE PRINT)

The deadline for paper submission is September 24, 2004

The paper should be prepared according to the following guidelines and
an electronic copy should be submitted per email to the proceedings editor before the deadline.

A paper hardcopy should be submitted to the editor’s desk during conference registration on Monday, September 27, 8:30-10:00. The paper hardcopy has to be accompanied by a signed Transfer of Copyright form to be accepted in the published proceedings.

ECRIS’04 proceedings will be published in an 8.5 x11 in, double-column format (see templates below).

The paper length limit is 4 pages.

 

 

Paper guidelines for 8.5 x 11 inch, double-column format proceedings

The proceedings of the ECRIS’04 workshop will be published by the American Institute of Physics (AIP, http://proceedings.aip.org) around February 2005. Each registered ECRIS’04 workshop participant will receive the proceedings per mail. AIP requires authors to follow detailed instructions to prepare their camera-ready manuscripts. These instructions are available in PDF. Templates in MS Word are also provided.

Important:

1.      Your paper must be accompanied by a signed Transfer of Copyright form. A paper can only be accepted for publication if a Transfer of Copyright form is submitted together with the paper.

2.      Complete the Offprint Order Form, if you wish to order offprints of your paper.

3.      To use previously published material from a book or journal, you must obtain written permission from the owner of the rights to the material (the original publisher and/or author). It is your responsibility to obtain permission to use copyrighted material. The executed permissions need to be sent along with the manuscript to the editor. (See also Author Instructions Booklet)

IMPORTANT:

For a paper to be included in the ECRIS’04 proceedings two steps must be fulfilled:

1.     An electronic paper version prepared according to the author’s instructions must be received by the editor per email before the deadline, September 24, 2004.

2.     A signed Transfer of Copyright form must be submitted to the editor’s desk during workshop registration, Monday, September 27, 8:30-10:00.
