Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Paul Alivisatos hosts Town Hall to discuss the Early Career Research Program
Thursday, September 6, 2012, 5:00 PM Eastern Time (2:00 PM Pacific). Pre-proposals due through Portfolio and Analyis Management System (PAMS).
Divisions are responsible for certifying (1) applicant's eligibility and (2) that the research ideas submitted in proposals fit within the scope of the Office of Science-funded programs at Berkeley Lab.
October 4, 2012. DOE emails notification to proposers encouraging or discouraging submission of a formal proposal.

Berkeley Lab Internal Deadlines - November 2012

Monday, November 5 - Template and instructions for Director's Memo provided to Divisional POCs
Monday, November 12 - Memos due to FundingOps@lbl.gov from Division Director or POC
Friday, November 16 - Director's office returns memos to Divisions for inclusion in proposals
Wednesday, November 21 - 12:00 NOON, Pacific Time - Final proposals submitted in PAMS (early internal deadline to insure successful submittal - especially important this year with new submittal system)
