Running

  1. Once Identity Finder starts, simply click the [Start] button to begin scanning your entire computer for Social Security Numbers, Financial Account Numbers, and CA Drivers License Numbers. In order to avoid causing resource problems, Identity Finder will not scan remote network drives.



  2. You may be prompted to shutdown Firefox, or other browsers. Select [No] if you see this prompt. If you close the browser, you will not be able to see these instructions.



  3. Identity Finder displays the progress as it searches, shown below in the red box. Identity Finder also displays the number of matches found while scanning, shown below in the yellow box.
