Identity Finder
In order to assist you in removing PII from your workstation, the Lab has acquired Identity Finder.
Identity Finder is an application specifically designed to find and remove Social Security Numbers, Financial Account Numbers, and California Drivers Licenses from computers.

Identity Finder is only available on Windows.
Subsequent pages will walk you through the process of installing and running the tool, as well as dealing with the results.
Keep in mind, Identity Finder is not a perfect tool. If you know you have PII on your workstation, remove it! Do not rely solely on Identity Finder. Make time to review your data and remove PII.
