The Grand Hyatt San Francisco is the host hotel for the Actinides 2009 Conference.  A special conference rate has been reserved for attendees, plus applicable taxes.  Conference lodging rates are valid July 11 – 17, 2009.

Transportation

The Grand Hyatt San Francisco is located on Union Square and can be reached conveniently from San Francisco International Airport via the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) airport station.  BART tickets are available at the entrance of station. Take the BART train to the Powell Street/Union Square Station.  The Grand Hyatt is located approximately three blocks north of the Powell Street/Union Square Station on Stockton Street. www.bart.gov

What to Bring

Business casual attire is requested for conference attendees.  Typical July weather in San Francisco is an average daytime high of 70° and low of 54°.  Comfortable walking shoes will get you where you need to go in the City, pack a light jacket or sweater, as the weather tends to cool down in the evenings.
