* Employees may use either vacation or leave without pay for these dates. New employees who have not had sufficient time to accrue adequate vacation may receive an advance against future vacation accrual for these days.
**Eligible employees have the option to take one of these days as a holiday. Those employees taking Cesar Chavez or Veterans Day as a holiday in Calendar Year 2008 must use a third vacation day on Friday, December 26, 2008.
