Benefits Orientations
The new employee and new postdoc benefit orientations have been customized to review the benefit package available to eligible employee as outlined in the employment offer letter. There are two different (separate) small group sessions.
Employees eligible for the Full Benefit package should enroll in a BLI0702 session and employees eligible for the Mid-Level or Core benefit package should enroll in a BLI0703 session. If you are unsure of which benefit package you were offered, please contact your HR Center Representative before enrolling in an orientation.
Employees newly eligible for benefits should pre-enroll in one of the two orientation classes, BLI0702 or BLI0703, during the Period of Initial Eligibility (PIE); 31-days from the date of hire or eligibility for benefits.
- To view the orientation schedule and enroll, go to Employee Self Service. Select from the menu option, “Training Enrollment”, click on “All courses”, then select “BLI0702” –New Employee Benefits Orientation or “BLI0703” – New Postdoc Benefits Orientation.
Please bring your benefits materials packet with you to the orientation.
If you have any questions, please contact the HR Benefits Group at (510) 486-6403 or email benefits@lbl.gov.
