Employee Referral Incentive Program (ERIP)

ERIP is an integral part of our overall recruiting strategy and encourages employees to utilize their existing contacts and networks as potential sources for qualified candidates.

ERIP awards $1,000 (net) to employees whose referral of an external candidate leads to a successful hire. Award payments are made within one month after the successful referral reports to work. Full-time and part-time employees are eligible to participate.

There is no limit on the number of referrals an employee can make, and there is no limit on the number of awards an employee can receive. To make a referral, (1) complete an ERIP Referral Form and forward it electronically to employeereferral@lbl.gov, and (2) submit a resume online through the Laboratory's Jobs Page. Both steps must be completed to receive credit for a referral. Please see the ERIP Referral Form for details.
