As part of the Asian Club’s activities sponsored by Berkeley Lab’s Employee Activity Association, we are inviting you, your families, and your friends to the food festival at Cesar Chavez Park on the North side of the Berkeley Marina, starting at 12:00 PM, August 19, 2006. The theme of the upcoming event is “Meeting old faces and welcoming new faces.” In this Asian food festival, we will have Asian foods including BBQs, and sports activities such as volleyball, Frisbees, and even badminton if you desire. There is no fee required for your participation or your membership, but you are welcome to bring your dish(es), along with your families or guests.

We’d love additional volunteers to help preparing for the event and future BLAA activities. Please let me know if you are available to help.
