Using Templates

Instead of re-typing requisition line information from scratch, you can use Templates. Templates are previous requisitions you created which are available for you to copy onto new requisitions. (Copy Lines from Requisition can also help you create requisitions.) Using Templates is a two-step process:

  1. For a requisition that you want to be available as a Template for future requisitions, check the "Save as Template" box (above the "Save and submit" button) on the "Finish and Checkout" page.


     

  2. When you create a new requisition, add a previously stored Template requisition to your new requisition by clicking the "Templates" tab on the "Add Items" page. A list of Templates for the Requester appears. Enter the quantity for the Template you want copied to the new requisition then click the "Add" button. Go to the "Finish and Checkou" page to view items copied from the Template.
