eProcurement Connect to FMS / ePro

How to Access eProcurement (ePro)

Most users can login to ePro using their LDAP (email) login and password. FMS users with email names longer than 8 characters must use their PeopleSoft FMS User ID and password to get into ePro/eBuy.

  • You can also connect to ePro Production by just typing fms in your browser's address area and pressing the Enter key.

ePro Requisition Preparers can also access eBuy through the eProcurement menu after logging into the regular eProcurement links above. (However, you cannot go to the eBuy site to create regular ePro requisitions.)

Browsers

PCs should use Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 or greater to enter requisitions into eBuy/ePro. Firefox version 1.5 or greater generally works OK, but some screens do not render as well as Internet Explorer. Mozilla or Netscape Communicator should not be used.

Macintoshes should use Safari version 1.2 or greater, which should be adjusted as shown here. Firefox may also work OK. Internet Explorer for the Mac should not be used.

Remote Access

For security, eBuy and ePro are only accessible on LBLnet. If you are off-site, you can get onto LBLnet using either installing the free Virtual Private Network (VPN) software on your off-site PC or by establishing a Remote Desktop Connection to your Lab PC which is left on.

Removing the Certificate Warning when Logging into ePro/eBuy

PCs can go to http://lanops/rootca/Frame.html. for instructions on removing the certificate warning.

For Vista users, install the Lab's certificate (from the above link) in the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" certficate store instead of the automatic default certificate store.
