The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced the implementation of the Secure Flight program. This program is intended to enhance the security of domestic and international air travel for all passengers through the use of improved TSA watch-list matching, as well as reduce the instances of passenger misidentification.
EFFECTIVE TODAY (July 2, 2009):CarlsonWagonlit agents and Cliqbook will begin requesting all traveler's gender, date of birth and middle name in order to update profiles for the new TSA requirements. BEWARE: Many LBNL travelers have official names that do not match their profiles or frequent flyer program traveler information. This will cause items to be incorrectly communicated to the airline and cause airport delays. Travelers/travel arrangers, please update all frequent traveler accounts with traveler's official name. It is the traveler’s responsibility to verify frequent flyer traveler information at the airport until all profile data is updated. This TSA section is available in your Cliqbook profile today— you will be able to update your personal information permanently:
Redress number is a unique identification number assigned to travelers under the Department of Homeland Security Traveler Redress Inquiry Program (DHS TRIP). Travelers who have been repeatedly identified for additional screening during the check-in process are invited to apply for Redress to help prevent watch list misidentifications in the future.
