What You Can Do to Reduce the Time it Takes to Reimburse Travel Expenses
|
Ensure That Your Airfare Will be Reimbursed
LBNL recommends that travelers purchase their airline tickets through the contracted agency, Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT). Reservations can be made through an on-line booking tool, TravelPower-Cliqbook, or by calling an agent direct at 1-888-243-1125. Travelers who choose to purchase tickets from a source, other than CWT, will be reimbursed up to the amount the ticket would have cost the Laboratory if purchased through the agency. |

To qualify for the rate, you may be asked to show government identification at time of check-in. Your LBNL badge is sufficient. Non-Laboratory personnel (e.g., interviewees, invited guests, visiting researchers, and contractors) traveling on behalf of LBNL who have any of the following identification are also eligible for the government rate:

Fortunately, this year the vaccine available in the U.S. is the same as the vaccine for this summer in the Southern hemisphere. More information on the flu and finding a vaccination this summer is available HERE (pdf) . |
