Zooming in on Microscopic Flow by Remotely Detected NMR / MRI

ABSTRACT:

Alexander Pines and colleagues at Berkeley Lab have been able to use NMR/MRI to image materials flowing through microfluidic lab-on-a-chip devices and zoom in on microscopic objects of interest with unprecedented spatial and time resolutions.
