(1) Parking Enforcement System for LBNL Employees and Non-Employees Eligible for Parking Privileges

- Any eligible employee or non-employee who accumulates six points
in any consecutive ninety day period, or ten points in
a year will have his/her parking
privileges at the Berkeley Lab suspended for thirty working days. This
penalty applies to drivers of government vehicles as well as private
vehicles.

- Violation of this suspension will result in either :

- Disciplinary actions
- Vehicle immobilization (Boot vehicle)
|
- Additional 3 points accrued within 180 days after suspension of parking privileges ends will result in disciplinary actions.

- If a pattern of abuse is detected, the Parking Policy Committee will make recommendations for disciplinary actions according to RPM Section 2.05B and to the cognizant Division Director.
