The new employee and new postdoc benefit orientations have been customized to review the health, welfare and retirement plans that you are eligible for based on your employment appointment. Before you enroll in one of the orientations, verify your benefit level eligibility. You can find this information in your employment letter or by contacting your HR center representative. There are two different (separate) small group sessions as noted above.
New employees eligible for benefits should pre-enroll in one of the above orientations classes, BLI0702 or BLI0703, during the Period of Initial Eligibility (PIE); 31-days from your date of hire or eligibility for benefits.
- To view the orientation schedules and enroll, go to Employee Self Service. Select from the menu option, "Training Enrollment," click on "All courses," then select "BLI0702 New Employee Benefits" or "BLI0730 New Postdoc Benefits" based on your employment classification
Please bring your benefit materials packet with you to the orientation.
