General Safety Info

check of Haz Mat inventory to be done by Fire Dept., and Lee Aleksich to
see if quantities are too high

minimization (N. Palaio Lab) - Can wipes in Lab be changed from "throw
away" paper to recyclable cloth?

Documentation Issues
- Large
focus on updating databases
- Is
"OJT" documented???
- Need
for better documentation when Lab officials come to validate
- Be
sure to keep authorizations and such up to date
Communication
- Important
to pass on safety info to others
- Use
group meetings to share safety info and other safety issues
- Not
everyone shows up at meetings
- Project
Notebooks
- Not
used anymore
- Most
people just look online or ask others when they have questions
- These
notebooks can be beneficial when external auditors or inspectors come to
LBNL
