  1. LHC Activity (Bldg 60)

A.     Everyone has lift/crane training and is certified

B.     Some electrical hazards

1)      Weird electrical wiring on far wall

2)      Broken bulb

  1. Self-Assessment Interviews

A.     List of interviewees for each two-person group (see handout)

B.     K. Hardy to email questions and other info to interviewers

1)      Various questions depending on position (Supervisor, assistant, etc.)

2)      Reminder - Keep questions brief and to the point; this is not a session for complaining

C.     Suggestions for interviewing

1)      Make appointment with interviewee; don't just drop in

2)      Be sure to explain what interviews are for

3)      Try to do paperwork and fill in answers immediately following interview while thoughts and responses are still fresh in your mind

4)      Try to have all interviews completed within next couple of weeks; K. Hardy & C. Thompson gone for 3 weeks after May 20.

B.     Anyone who supervises projects or lab space needs to fill out one of these.

C.     Questionnaires can be used to check projects vs. Lab policies vs. JHQ

A.     Building 51G

1)      Work being done - Pay attention to cranes and forklifts

2)      Hardhats required in some areas where work is being done

3)      Pay attention to fences

4)      A number of unauthorized persons have been seen walking through the area without clearance or hardhats

B.     Annual Lab Earthquake Drill

1)      May 16, 2002, 10:00am

2)      Whole Lab will participate
