What time does the talk start?
All talks start at 10AM and last approximately 60-90 minutes. Please make an effort to arrive before 10.
Do I have to register for each talk?
No, just register once and we'll send you a reminder a few days before each talk.
How do I get there; where do I park?
All talks this year will be in Stanley Hall except March 23, which will be in 2050 Valley Life Sciences Building.
BY BART: Stanley Hall is a 15-20 minute walk from BART, through the UC campus. Valley Life Sciences Building is a 10 minute walk from BART. Printable Campus Map.
BY CAR: Stanley Hall-- if you drive, we recommend that you park in the UC fee lot located at Hearst and La Loma. You may enter from Ridge Road, La Loma, or Hearst. You must PAY to park on Saturdays: if you do not pay, you will be ticketed. Bring coins or $1 or $5 bills. Cost is 50 cents per 1/2 hour.
Valley Life Sciences Building--there are a number of fee lots along both Bancroft Way and Durant Ave, including an underground garage below the Recreational Sports Facility at the corner of Bancroft Way and Ellsworth Street. In addition there is an underground fee lot at the corner of Berkeley Way and Oxford Street.****************************

No, we're happy to see you when you can attend but understand that you're busy students! Just come to the next talk.
My mom/dad would like to attend. May they come with me?
Parents are welcome, but only on a space-available basis. Students and certificated teachers have seating priority.
What if I registered but haven't gotten an email from you?
You will not receive an email from us. After you register online, the confirmation page will appear. This page contains information about transportation, parking and getting to Stanley Hall.
Are cell phones allowed at Nano-High?
Cell phones use is strictly forbidden. Our speakers are giving of their personal time, and your fellow students have come to listen and learn. Please show them respect and refrain from texting.
