How do I get business cards at the Lab?
CSO will create camera-ready artwork for your business cards. Business
cards will be printed for those employees whose job requires regular interaction
with representatives of federal agencies; other contractors; state, local,
or foreign governments; private industry; or the general public and for
whom a business card would facilitate prompt and efficient communication
with such individuals and entities as a representative of Berkeley Lab
for DOE.
The printing of these cards must be handled by CSO’s General Printing Officer at an approved GPO printing facility. The full text of this policy can be found in RPM SS1.20(C).
Obtain a “business card request form” from our Web site, or by calling x6765. Fill out the form completely and mail it to Business Cards, 46R-0125 or fax it to x5333. A proof of your artwork will be faxed to you for your approval.
How do I get a document printed?
Please see our Printing and
Duplicating Services page.
How does CSO charge for services?
CSO requires a valid laboratory account ID number before performing any
work. This number will be billed monthly for any work performed by CSO
staff in that month. Charges will appear in the general ledger under resource
category 42000, Information Services.
What will I be charged for?
CSO recharges for any service performed by our staff, including time spent
overseeing a job. Generally, any special materials and supplies used in
the course of a job are billed or recharged to our clients. CSO does not
charge for time spent creating estimates.
Who can I contact if I have questions
about CSO charges?
Contact CSO's administrative liaison at x6765 for information about CSO's
charges. If possible, please have the reference number from the general
ledger available.
How do I get an estimate for a project
I'm considering?
Email or phone the contact for the particular
service you need. If you do not know which group your project involves,
or if your project involves more than one group, contact CSO's administrative
liason at x6765 to arrange for an estimate.
