Attaching unauthorized equipment to the Laboratory's networking and telecommunications infrastructure is not permitted. This includes the installation of wiring and conduit to set up individual systems. Such systems are not allowed for compatibility and capacity issues. The installation of wireless access points may cause interference with Lab systems and can also pose cyber security risks.

All requests for communications and networking resources or services must be processed through the Networking and Telecommunications Department. For more information, please refer to R.P.M., sections 9.01D and 9.02A.
