Still Using the Netscape Calendar Client? Upgrade to the Newest Version by Oracle

If you rely on the Lab's electronic calendaring system and are still using the old Netscape version, it's time to upgrade. The Netscape Calendar client is more than four years old, buggy, not as intuitive to use, lacks features, is out of date, and hasn't been supported by Netscape since 2000.

The new client can be downloaded from the Lab's software downloads page.

The latest version of the calendar client is called Oracle Calendar (Oracle bought Steltor, the company that developed the original version licensed and repackaged by Netscape. You can read more about the Oracle version in a previous article.

More information, including instructions for installing and configuring the Oracle Calendar client, is available from the Calendar Web page.
