1-800-LBL-DATA and the local dialup service have been upgraded with the installation of a new server, bringing the dialup services in line with commercial service providers.

The 1-800 service has served LBLnet clients with national access for many years, providing centralized billing for toll and long distance connections. Though the rates have fluctuated through the years, the current rate of 15 cents per minute is very competitive. With the addition of international access at the same rate, the value of using the 1-800-LBL-DATA service is even better.

The new servers have been thoroughly tested both nationally and internationally and the improvement of both the initial connect and reliability of the connections are significant.
