UCB Identities (Cal 1 Card, Calnet IDs)
IT Division has a pilot project to help facilitiate the issuance and management of UC Berkeley Identity Credentials to LBL Employees who regularly work in UCB locations.
The IT Helpdesk can create, manage, and terminate special records in the UCB system which permit our employees to get Cal 1 Cards (the UCB ID Card) and Calnet IDs (the UCB Username/Password system).
Note: For computer based collaboration between UCB and LBL, the use of Federated Authentication may be more appropriate.
