LBL eBuy

eBuy is the Laboratory's new electronic commerce ordering system for purchasing low-value catalog items. eBuy allows Laboratory personnel to directly buy items from a supplier's entire Web catalog with no Procurement involvement. Delivery is normally within one to five days for most items. Go here for general information.

Eventually, both general office supplies and computer parts and peripherals will utilize eBuy. As of July 10, the office supply contracts are now available.

Office Supplies (paper, binders, toner, computer media, desk supplies, stamps, etc.)

LBNL has recently selected Pacific Supply & Safety, LLC, a small business partner of Corporate Express, as its supplier for office supplies. Use the Pacific Supply and Safety PSS / Corporate Express (PSS/CE) catalog to order office supplies including paper, binders, toner, etc. The IT Division has done limited testing on the remanufactured laser toner cartridges provided by this firm and they have met the requirements (no leakage). Let the IT Help Desk know if your experience differs however.

Computer Parts

LBNL has recently selected US FALCON, a small business partner of CDWG, as its supplier for computer equipment. A link titled "LBNL recommended accessories" will continue to grow as we recommend commonly used parts.
