LBNL selected US FALCON, a small business partner of CDWG, as a supplier for computer equipment (parts, systems, and peripherals).  Apple Products (among others) are available on this contract.

The direct link to start the ordering process: http://ebuy.lbl.gov/.

For custom configurations that require something not already available through eBuy as a standard stocked item, go to the LBL/Apple web site to  The Apple Store and configure the system you need

CDWG can create a custom SKU for your  configuration so you can use eBuy to acquire it (call the account team referenced in the eBuy site).   This will avoid the ePro requisition process that would ordinarily be required.

IT can also adjust the standard configurations already available if we see the need to change.

Note:  for discounts on Operating System upgrades or multi-year maintenance contracts, please refer your request to licenses@lbl.gov. The IT division works directly with Apple for competitive pricing on OS upgrades (which must be done as part of larger bulk buys).

Apple has a Federal Government Employee Purchase program. For information concerning this program, the EPP online store is located at:

Apple also advises us that a Lab employee can call 800-MY-APPLE to receive their discount.

An alternative choice for personal purchase is to visit the UC Berkeley Scholars workstation. The web link is:
