RAPID (PeopleSoft Grants Management System)
Description:
The RAPID System manages information pertaining to the development, submission, negotiation, funding, and administration of research proposals and projects. RAPID is based on the PeopleSoft Grants Management system, and is an integrated component of the Laboratory's Financial Management System (FMS).
Status:
RAPID became operational in May 2003. Upgraded to version 8.8 in June 2005.
System Requirements:
Web-based application. Browsers supported by the vendor (Oracle) include IE6k, Netscape 7.x, and Safari 1.2.
