Training Information
User Support does not directly provide computer training (Berkeley Lab Institute is chartered with this function). However, a computer training room facility is available (see below).
Computer Training Rooms
IT User Support maintains a computer training room (90-0026) for the use of the Lab community. Room Capacity: 16 student workstations and one instructor workstation. Room for approximately 4 observers. Unique feature: Additional monitors are located in between student workstations. Each displays whatever is being done on the instructor workstation.
It can be rented for $160/day (if two groups want to split a day, the cost can be shared). The room requires Card Key Access. Any instructor who does not already have access should request this at the time the room is reserved (via the IT Division Help Desk).
