Windows NT 4.0 Network Configuration(Changing your network settings can cause loss of network connectivity and severe system problems if done wrong. Please make these changes only if you are experienced NT adminstrator!) Note: These changes require administrative privileges to NT Frame TypeLBL networks use the NWLink IPX/SPX "Frame Type" of Ethernet II. Windows NT runs more reliably when this setting is specified. To change this setting, open the Network Control Panel in Windows NT 4.0 by clicking the "Start" menu, choosing "Settings" then "Control Panel", and double-clicking the Network icon. Under the Protocols tab select "NWLink IPX/SPX Compatible Transport" and click the Properties button.
Network Bindings It is recommended that Windows NT running the Novell Netware client have the NWLink NetBIOS protocol bindings disabled. To disable these bindings, open the Network Control Panel in Windows NT 4.0 by clicking the "Start" menu, choosing "Settings" then "Control Panel", and double-clicking the Network icon. Under the Bindings tab, disable all occurances of NWLink NetBIOS when the "Show Bindings for:" is at all services, as seen below.
