Federated Authentication
For web content that must be limited to specific individuals, the IT Division provides multiple ways to authenticate web users. For content hosted on www.lbl.gov, user restrictions can be placed on both directories and files. For protected content hosted on user-maintained webservers, the IT Division can provide assistance interfacing with the IT-run directory service.
