Looking For Help in All Kinds of Places? Look Here!

The Lab's Computing Infrastructure Support Group, known as CIS, has revamped and improved nearly 150 web pages related to providing computer support to Lab employees. To make it easy to find help, CIS has provided an easy-to-remember link: http://www.lbl.gov/help

There's also a new set of pages for higher-level, centralized computer services, with in-depth information about the infrastructure and capabilities of the Lab's computer systems. The main page can be found at: http://www.lbl.gov/ICSD/CIS/

CIS is the organization which runs the Lab's Computer Support Help Desk, which can solve many problems over the phone (call them at 4357 or H-E-L-P), and the UNIX and Mac and PC support groups, which send technicians out to fix tougher problems.
