Lab's New Voice Mail System Lets You Check Messages on Your Computer

One of the features of the Lab's new and improved voice mail system is the capability of checking voice mail messages on your computer. Called Visual Messenger, the feature is a multimedia messaging application that lets users easily review and send voice and fax messages. This application displays a "window" on the user's personal computer (PC) so they can view all their messages, including incoming faxes. This application only works on PCs. To order Visual Messenger, send email to TSC@lbl.gov. For more information on Visual Messenger, please view the Telephone Service Center (TSC) web page.

If you are a Mac user, you can inquire about www.messenger by sending email to TSC@lbl.gov. The Telephone Service Center is currently conducting a beta test on this product that allows Mac users to view their voice mail messages via their Mac.
