Berkeley Lab Computing News Here to Help Desktop System Users Welcome to the second issue of Berkeley Lab Computing News. This monthly electronic newsletter is designed to give Lab computer users more information about their desktop systems. Computing News is produced by the Lab’s Information and Computing Sciences Division, which is responsible for computer infrastructure support, computer protection and Lab-wide information systems and support. The newsletter is being produced and distributed in two formats — html and plain text. The html version is sent to employees who have IMAP4 accounts and has links to the complete text of all the articles. Employees using other email applications will receive the plain text version.
