Classroom Activities

Below are three classroom activities. Two of the scenarios deal with cancer screening and one with health insurance and genetic testing. These scenarios are designed to stimulate classroom discussions. At the discretion of the teacher, these scenarios also can be developed into debates within the classroom.

• Scenario #1 - The discovery of a new breast cancer gene.
