DSTW (Daughters and Sons to Work Day)
Program Description
Berkeley Lab hosts children of employees for a day of science and fun. The program includes:
- an introductory assembly
- hands-on activities
- workshops
- science festival
- tours of research facilities
- interactions with scientists
- lunch
- ice cream social

7:45 AM Registration
9 AM Opening Assembly
9:45 - 12:15 PM Activities/Tours
12:30 - 1:30 PM Lunch
1:30 - 2:45 PM Activities/Tours
3 - 4 PM Ice Cream Social
4 PM All children must be picked up by parent/guardian
Audience/Eligibility
Girls and boys ages 9 to 16 who are guests of Berkeley Lab employees.
- Space is limited to 120 children
- Limit of 3 children per Lab employee

How to Register
- Print out and review Registration Information Packet with your guest, especially workshop choices
- Fill out registration form (included in Registration Information Packet )
- Complete Berkeley Lab employee/parent consent form (included in Registration Information Packet )
- Make check for $30 per child payable to UC Regents

Chaperones
Chaperones are needed for the event to guide guests to all parts of the day's program. All volunteers will receive a T-shirt and lunch.
